The RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) is a device for acquiring, processing, storing and transmitting information between the Secondary Substation and the Control Center. Facilitating efficient and reliable communication between secondary substation and control center; collecting and processing information from the secondary substation and communicating the information to SCADA; enabling the monitoring and controlling of the secondary substation.
